The Phoenix Breath Lodge is now open after diligent reconstruction efforts following the vandalism that struck it. 50% off on all deals for the next three Months.

At an unknown hour on Friday night, a monolithic necropolis appeared hovering over Deatholme. Since midnight, the necropolis has begun to float northward along the Dead Scar. As of now, no one knows where the necropolis came from or what its final purpose is.

The Magisters have declared this matter to be an emergent threat to all life in Quel’thalas and are preparing for a catastrophic event the likes of which haven’t been felt since Arthas.

Scouts have reported that the necropolis is protected by some sort of shadowy barrier that cannot be penetrated by normal means. Magical experts are working diligently to figure out how to bring down the barrier, but a defense this robust is not likely to be solved overnight. Even once the barrier is brought down, it will take significant firepower to destroy the construct.

To make matters worse, the tensions have escalated between the Loyalist and Imperialists beyond the point of return. With the recent declaration of war issued by the Magisters, no one knows whether or not the appearance of the necropolis will provide means for a truce. The army of Silvermoon is already spread thin, likely unable to fend off the forces of evil that rally within the bowels of the necropolis without cooperation from the splinter factions.

Series of Deaths in the Court of the Sun

On the 14th, 18th, and 21st, a series of gruesome deaths have occurred in the Court of the Sun.

First, the murder of a State Dissentor deposited in the fountain was discovered by the Blood Watch.

Second, followed by a Wretched in a murder that seems to be connected to Light radicals that call themselves 'Purists' due to the bloody message 'Those that are not pure will cleansed.'

Thirdly, today, a man was disemboweled by a feminine figure in broad daylight.

Current leads of investigation show all three individuals to have little-to-no-ties to any surviving Thalassian Citizens. It is urged for anyone with information on these acts to report to your nearest Guard or Blood Watch.

Weatherly Report

It is always a temperate, sunny, day in Quel'thalas' Capitol.

Blessed be our People by the works of our

Ancestors and the Leadership of Regent Lord Lor'themar Theron that allows us to enjoy this unique elven luxury.

The Crown
At the start of the New Year with the assistance of REDACTED the crown of the Sunstrider dynasty was obtained and secured by the Blood Watch. An attempt to steal the crown was made by the Imperialist Party of Silvermoon during the assassination of Ambassador Lem and later during the Grand Bazaar.

Had the Imperialist Party succeeded in stealing the crown, they would have obtained a fake. Only the Blood Watch and State Officials knows what has happened to the crown.

But that has not stopped greed and malice.

Treason
On the sixth of the first month, an assault by the Amani from Tor’Watha was carried out. Many have wondered what could provoke such an assault and had the greed of the Imperialist Party, led by none other than Sanarissa Firewing, not overcome them, then the Farstriders at the retreat would live today.

It is treasonous to know of Amani gathering for war and to not report.
It is treasonous to provoke the Amani into an assault.

Sanarissa Firewing and the Imperialist Party are responsible for the death of Sin’dorei Farstriders.

The Amani were in possession of a set of scrolls and powerful pylons. These items were crucial to the Imperials plot to reclaim Quel’thalas and they did not care for the loss of life, the loss of Sin’dorei lives they intend to enslave.

The battle for Farstrider Retreat would not have been won without the assistance of the Blood Watch and Loyalist Party, along with the People of Silvermoon City.

The Cowards Flee
The Imperials had acquired their items and if it was not for another occurrence of poor judgement, the scrolls they were after would not have found their way into the hands of REDACTED. These scrolls were of course dealt with by appropriate channels.

In the second week of the New Year, the State officiated a decree to arrest all known Imperialists for treason against the state. The Blood Watch and Loyalist Party dutifully have carried out service in light of this decree.

It is now the Imperials have revealed their heir Eldin’arcus Sunstrider.
It is now the Imperials have claimed Sunstrider Isle for their false heir.

But the crown is a fake, and the people they want to rule have turned against them.

Rampant Critter Slaughters Cease

The population of critters within Capitol Limits appears to be steadily regenerating in absence of the spree of slaughter that had overtaken the City during its highest tensions.

With that, it is easy to conclude that Imperialist supporters were likely behind the senseless acts of violence.

Battle of Sunstrider Isle

In recent days, the Imperialists headed by Sanarissa Firewing and a 'Celthris' character have asserted a false Sun King to their cause and stormed Sunstrider Isle, taking it from control of the State as an indisputable rogue faction.

This Sun King goes by the name of Eldin'arcus Sunstrider, proclaiming to be a long-lost brother of our late Sun Prince. The Magisterium, outraged by this false heir's attempts to splinter the Kingdom as war wages in Azeroth and worlds beyond, have declared war on these militant dissentors before any more ground is lost. At this very moment, bannerlords of the Kingdom of Quel'Thalas and its paramilitaries, all gather on the Capitol's Outskirts to Farstrider Square under the command of Selestra Rosevale, second to State Official, Vallus Sunsong, who has been reported missing under suspicion of being kidnapped.

Selestra Rosevale intends to approach those who would spark the fragmentation of our beloved Kingdom for personal gain, with an offer of surrender especially as the mysterious necropolis looms closer and closer to Silvermoon City with every passing hour.

The People and State, as a majority, find themselves outraged in recent polls especially with what the Imperialists and their false Sun King have done to Sunstrider Isle - setting back its health by decades as demonic brimstone and smoke hails over the Isle and demons hold equal number to every Dissentor holding out in the region.

The Thalassian Times dearly hopes that Knight-Master Rosevale, known for her compassion and silver tongue, may manage to derail Imperialist intent to war for control over Eversong, the Capitol and Quel'Thalas a whole. However, The Thalassian Times also recognises that such a thing may prove impossible as it is now clear that the Imperialists have thrown their lot in with the Burning Legion just as their Prince did.
