The Sin'dorei stands at the precipice of change once more.

First, the Fall birthed our People. There was the Honored Dead, the Quel'dorei, and Children sprouted from their Blood that stained our grasses thereafter.

Second, the Revolution forged our People. The traditions of the Honored Dead were replaced. We were forged anew in flame and gold, took on new names, and developed new technologies. Our perspective turned into one of bitter survival at all costs.

Third, the Prince shook our People. He sold us to the Burning Legion in a promise of salvation. We became keenly aware, then, of the tendencies of the World to utilise us as pawns: the Grand Alliance, Garithos, Illidan, the Legion, the Horde. We realised survival depends upon barters and deals with all those around us.

Now, the World tries our People. Survival is no longer enough for us. We, Sin'dorei, must define our place in this new world and determine the course ahead. Our People will, and must, grow.

What future do you see for the Sin'dorei?

The Loyalists

Answering to none other than the Regent Lord of Quel’Thalas, the Loyalists are the quintessential party of the Sin’dorei. Mainly consisting of veteran soldiers, proponents of this party have been exposed to the atrocities of the Alliance time and time again. Their support of Lor’themar Theron is unwavering, as is their allegiance to the Horde. Unashamed of their dark past, these elves regard their fel-stained eyes as badges of honor, testament of their tenacity.

Leader: Vallus Sunsong

Acting Leader: Selestra <Sellestra> Rosevale

Headquarters: Sunfury Spire

Motto: "Stay the Course!"

Strengths

  • Support of the state and the Horde

  • Military experience

  • Ownership of all print media

Weaknesses

  • War fatigue among citizenry

  • No significant progress made in recent years

  • Vulnerable to conspiracies

Platforms

  • Maintain the status quo

  • Support Lor’themar Theron

  • Improve relations with the Horde

  • Maintain cautious and gradual naturalization of Quel’dorei

  • Conservative use of magic

  • Strengthen military

Campaign:

A darkness is manifesting in the realm of Quel’Thalas. Increased practice of shadow magic is resulting in mayhem. Intent on securing their power and protecting the realm, the Loyalists will stop at no lengths to expose their enemy and restore order.

The Reformers

Disillusioned by the barbarity of the Horde, the Reformers wish to steer Quel’Thalas away from a dark path. Emboldened by the return of Alleria Windrunner, these idealists are skeptical of the Warchief’s vision and will not allow the people of Quel’Thalas to be used as pawns. Although tenuously loyal to the Regent Lord, the Reformers believe it is time to do away with the old monarchy and reinstate a council of elven lords who act in the interests of the people.

Campaign:

Determined to undermine the power of their rivals, the Reformers plan to find incriminating evidence on them. Expanding their network of scouts and mercenaries, a strategy is designed to gain the favor of the people.

Platforms

  • Advocate neutrality

  • Distance Quel’Thalas from the Horde

  • Support of a reformed Convocation of Silvermoon

  • Reunification of Quel’dorei and Sin’dorei

  • Limited resources

  • Few experienced leaders

The Purists

Campaign:

A prophecy of an elven savior was once told fervently by adherents of the old parish, but only recently has it resurfaced. Seeking to restore the confidence of the people and ease them of weary hearts, the Purists begin their search of a fallen star.

Quel’Thalas went through innumerable transformations over the past few years, but some of her denizens never changed. Disgusted by the corruption of their home, these elves resort to radical, sometimes lethal tactics to erase the stain of fel and shadow. The Purists have no love for the Horde, but no love for the Alliance either. It is the prime objective of this party to expel evil from the realm and seclude themselves from the rest of the world.

Platforms

  • Complete separation from the Horde

  • Embrace extreme isolationism

  • Support of a reformed Convocation of Silvermoon

  • Revival of faith in the Light and restoration of a Thalassian church

  • Compulsory purge all corruption from the Sin’dorei

  • Extremely conservative magical practices

Leader: Aldarian Dawngrace

Acting Leader: Intheas <Sunsmoke>

Headquarters: Stillwhisper Pond

Motto: "Light the Way!"

Strengths

  • Growing paranoia among citizenry

  • Miraculous healing powers

  • Moral high ground

Weaknesses

  • Almost nonexistent military

The Imperialists

Not all of Kael’thas’ chosen were so eager to denounce the House of Sunstrider following his betrayal. While small in number, the Imperialists are the remnants of the old Thalassian campaign on Outland. Publicly, these holdouts feign fealty to the Regent Lord. In secret, however, they pine for the restoration of the Sunstrider Dynasty and the expansion of the Thalassian Empire. In the eyes of the Imperialists, sin’dorei are the supreme race of Azeroth, destined to inherit the world and all her magic. Rumors of a claimant to the Sunstrider name are held fast to by members of this party, though many others are quick to dismiss such an idea as myth.

Platforms

  • Embrace true independence from the Alliance and the Horde

  • Expansion of the Kingdom of Quel’Thalas

  • Support the reinstatement of the Sunstrider Dynasty through an Heir-Apparent

  • Liberal use of magic to achieve power and independence

  • Purge of non-Sin’dorei from Quel’Thalas, especially Quel’dorei

Leader: Zalerian Bloodreign

Acting Leader: <Liahel> Dawnrend

Headquarters: The Sanctum

Motto: "Blood for Blood!"

Strengths

  • Secrets of the Sunfury

  • Lack of moral restrictions

  • Magical superiority

Weaknesses

  • Tied to Kael’thas' reputation

  • Few apparent allies

Campaign:
The rumors of an heir to the Sunstrider Dynasty are becoming harder to disprove. With an apparent ‘ace in the hole’, the Imperialists have set out to find their new king and restore him to power.
