Formerly the most popular hub for Horde roleplay, a slow drain of roleplayers from the server has reduced Silvermoon City to a ghost town.

It is the goal of this project to turn Silvermoon’s weakness into a strength. Imagine the city as a blank stage.

This is where we tell the story of political rivals, all desperate to hold power. Every other day, a new major event takes place in the city. Some of these events are scripted, some are spontaneous. Assassinations, espionage, violent arrests, public riots, deception, betrayal… all of these elements are included in a plot that unfolds over the span of weeks.

Drawing inspiration from the success of events like the Tournament of Ages, we can breathe life back into Silvermoon, and by extension, the Horde. Players will be encouraged to engage with each other, and with the support of dedicated staff we will create an interaction-rich environment.

About Our Project
Dynamic Factions
  • Participate with one of our pre-made Factions: go with the flow or establish your own directive for those around you... shaping the Factions from within.

  • With enough community momentum; forge your own faction in a city where all possible tensions are boiling to the surface...

  • Forego feeding into the strife around you. Stand as a beacon in a mad world... or scoff and go on with your life.

?

How Do We Intend to Do This?

  • Unabashedly, as the creators of the Tournament of Ages, we're taking this concept right to Symphony of Silvermoon.

  • Is your character a merchant? An artisan? A Festival attendant? A recruiter? A storyteller? A proselytizer?

  • Host games; activities; sell items through roleplaying, in-game, or addon, means; or simply be a focal point of roleplay with the community.

  • Maybe some booths are quietly aligned with one Faction or another, or act as fence for more shady organisations. Always watch your belongings and your words...

Booths

The Kingdom of Quel'thalas has grown weary.

More a rag-tag band of survivors than a nation compared to their previous glory, the Sin'dorei have prevailed through famine, betrayal, and countless battles. Recent affairs have sent their people en masse towards Death in Suramar, the Broken Shore, and Argus. The streets are barren and empty. The citizens that remain pour their energy into the war efforts than into their affairs of home. The guards, officials, and other personnel, of the State are at their most green as their more experienced fellows kill and die beyond Quel'thalas' shores.

Such vacancy serves the City ill. Tensions buzz in the air like a neverending headache. Old loyalties, old ideologies, old names, old problems, old conflicts skitter through the streets, the walls, the earth, the food, the water, the air, like multitudes of insects.

The State seeks to hold a Festival in celebration of the Sin'dorei's joining with the New Horde with the coming of the New Year - in hopes of calming the quarrel that brews in Silvermoon before it boils over.

It takes only the slightest movement of the pot's lid to scald the skin away from one's fingers.

Dynamic Storylines
  • Expect spontaneous and scripted events by the hands of the Coordinators every other day of S.O.S.- nevermind the constant thrum of activity that the Community itself will be providing.

  • Every Major Faction developed by the Coordinators has a cohesive, unique, and cumulative Storyline full of interactive puzzles, DMed events, and more!

  • Unlock hidden Storyline Characters and Weapons to boost your Faction's power.

  • The Coordinators will be observing, and noting, as much roleplay as we can throughout every night of S.O.S.. We will be modifying our storylines and events for S.O.S as a whole based on the flow of Community Roleplay!

  • Our goal is to work as hard as we can with the Community to make Silvermoon as life-like as possible.

Who Do We Want Involved?

The quick and dirty answer is everyone. Think back to the heydays of Moon Guard.

These were the days in which the Horde - Moon Guard Community worked with one another and the Alliance to create some of the most iconic moments of our server’s history.

These were the days that veterans of the server remember so fondly - the storylines we developed, the connections we, and our characters, made, and the legends we forged.

What we're looking for is Alliance communicating and collaborating with known Sin'dorei sympathisers. We're looking for retinues of Kor'kron Legionnaires and Undercity Deathstalkers to guard over an unruly possession of the Horde. We're looking for the most radical of the Sin'dorei to everyday citizens. We're looking for outreach from not only our own Community here on Moon Guard, but from any and all  possible interested participants.

Well...
